- What do you like most about working here?
- I love the vibe of the office. Everyone gets along and is genuinely interested in what they and their families have going on.
- Favorite hobby/use of free time?
- I’m more of a homebody and like watching television or a good movie. I also love going to Vegas for vacation!
- Food you go to for stress or celebration?
- I love Chocolate Covered Peanuts and Pink Starbursts! My go-to celebration meal would have to be a nice Chicken Parm. You can really gauge an Italian restaurant by how they prepare the chicken parm.

- What do you like most about working here?
- I most enjoy serving our clients, collaborating with a talented team of coworkers to solve complex problems, fostering a family-like atmosphere, and continuously challenging myself to learn and grow.
- Favorite hobby/use of free time?
- Traveling with my family, spending time with friends, gardening, crafting, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.

- My go-to comfort and celebration foods include Thai, Indian, Korean, Japanese, and Belarusian cuisine, along with fresh fruit, quality chocolate, pastries, and grilled meats.

Matthew Barbour

- What do you like most about working here?
- Professional services at its core is about relationships and MAS Advisors has provided me the opportunity to foster many great relationships both with clients and coworkers.
- Favorite hobby/use of free time?
- Free time is spent walking the huskies, golfing and traveling. And sometimes all three in one trip!
- Food you go to for stress or celebration?
- Busy season stress eating is all about salty and savory (pretzels, sunflower seeds, trail mix). Come summertime though I have to regulate how much ice cream I let myself eat – green mint chip in case you’re wondering.

Lisa Libby

- What do you like most about working here?
- What I like most is that the learning never stops. Starting back in 1998 with Scott & Jim (the OG’s), I’ve been part of an amazing firm that has continuously supported my professional growth & development over the years.
- Favorite hobby/use of free time?
- Love spending time with my husband, daughter & our little Shih Tzu, Demi. Enjoy playing cards, concerts, being by the ocean, taking walks, sunrises and searching for sea glass & other beach treasures to add to my collection!

- Obsessed with Starbucks Caramel Bruleé Lattes, cannoli and all things coconut.

- What do you like most about working here?
- What I best like most about working with our firm is that the team genuinely collaborates. Everyone is willing to jump in, share insight, and help solve problems so clients get clear, accurate answers as quick as possible. That kind of environment makes the work both rewarding and energizing.
- Favorite hobby/use of free time?
- My favorite hobby is spending time with my family. Whether it’s golfing, exploring new places with my three boys and my wonderful wife, or checking out a local brewery wherever our travels take us, I enjoy making the most of every opportunity to create new experiences and memories.

- What do you like most about working here?
- There is a great crew and great clients; and it has been a pleasure seeing and being part of the rebrand for the company’s next generation.
- Favorite hobby/use of free time?
- I love spending time outside, especially summers [at camp] on Sebago Lake with family. I also love spending time with friends, working out, cooking/baking, playing volleyball, and any sort of creative outlet.

- This is a hard question… Stress relief I find myself in the gym, and for everything else, I love anything my mom cooks/bakes, a good fish taco… oh, and chocolate :’)

- What do you like most about working here?
- One of the great joys of my life has been working with people who share a common purpose and together building an organization that embodies that purpose. I’m reminded of that each day that I am in the office.
- Favorite hobby/use of free time?
- My favorite hobby is not singular. I love tinkering, motorcycles, golf, bowling, genealogy, landscaping, theology, whisky and all things grandchildren.

- My stress food is exercise. My celebration food is anything laced with chocolate of any variety.

- I’ve earned a Batchelor’s degree in Finance, an MBA with a concentration in accounting, and a CPA certification.
Kate Colby

- What do you like most about working here?
- I enjoy the supportive and enriching environment at the firm, where continuous learning, professional growth, and exceptional client service are all part of the culture.
- Favorite hobby/use of free time?
- I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, hiking and kayaking, working in my garden, and crocheting. During the summer months, I try to soak up as much sunshine and fresh air as possible to get me through a Maine winter.

- My favorite treat is anything homemade and fresh from the oven. Whether it’s zucchini, banana, or berry bread, it’s hard to resist a slice while it’s still steaming hot.

- As a legacy principal, I have a deep connection to the clients and the firm.

- Hanging out with family at camp on Sebago Lake; riding the ATV trails on the dirt bikes and the street on the Challenger and ‘Wing…

- I find it rewarding to take on abandoned or disorganized bookkeeping projects and turn them into balanced, complete financial records for our clients.

- I treasure any opportunity to be with or support my grandchildren creating lasting memories and family traditions.

- A classic charcuterie board with dark chocolate for dessert is, in my opinion, the best busy season meal.

- What do you like most about working here?
- I love working with a small, highly effective team on a diverse group of clients. It feels like we’re part of the pit crew helping local companies succeed.
- Favorite hobby/use of free time?
- I enjoy being outdoors year-round: hiking with my dogs, camping in our vintage trailer with the cats and dogs, running, road biking, and cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in the winter. I’m also into zymurgy and enjoy the science and creativity behind brewing and fermentation.

- Tex-Mex is definitely my go-to, but I won’t say no to a slice of chocolate cake.

- I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients and being a part of the firm’s atmosphere. Each day is an opportunity to learn something new about an industry while fixing unique challenges and simultaneously helping clients with their tax and financial reporting needs.

- I enjoy all festivities with my wife and son, a good stock market podcast while mowing the yard, and occasionally embarrassing myself on the golf course.

- I’ll eat a good cheeseburger, breakfast burrito, or a penne alla vodka anytime, anywhere.

- What do you like most about working here?
- I enjoy working at MAS Advisors as every day that I go into work, there is a lot of variety within my admin duties and although I am in a professional office setting, amongst professionals, it feels like I am having a great day out hanging with my friends.

- I love to work-out; weight training, indoor cycling, reform Pilates, being off- grid outdoors in our camper with fireside happy hours & reading.

- A good work out is my stress reliever, and I love Pork Pies and Sausage rolls (pastry gal at heart), they are hard to find in the USA so helps keep my waist- line in check 🙂
