Who We Are
MAS Advisors began as McLeod, Ascanio & Company in 1995 when founding principals Scott McLeod and James Ascanio joined forces to create a small accounting practice that could service the needs of Maine individuals and businesses leveraging the knowledge they both had gained working for large international accounting firms. Through strategic hires and acquisitions the practice grew to offer a full array of accounting and assurance services.
In January 2024, a group of long-term employees completed an internal transition led by Matthew Barbour, Inga Bozsik, Jay Grant and Matthew Apgar to continue the legacy and vision of the company. Legally we are known as McLeod Ascanio Services LLC, but to solidify our vision for the future have rebranded as MAS Advisors.
